Easter

Easter traditions can be a bit challenging to carry out in interior Alaska. This year the snow started to melt and it was fairly mucky and muddy. If it falls in March, there is still snow on the ground. (my children have never experienced an easter egg hunt in grass)

And it never seems right to parade around in new spring outfits.

Unless...

you pair them with fancy new muck boots.


What self respecting child would stay out of a puddle
this size just because they're wearing new Easter shoes?
