Aiden and I are huge fans of Governor Palin. Last year Aiden wrote her a letter for a kindergarten social studies project. She promptly wrote back and answered his specific questions (or someone in her office did but we like to think it was really her). She also included a picture which now lives on our fridge.
The other day he wanted to write her another letter so here is a picture of his final draft which we will mail soon. How sweet is that...."I am glad you didn't get to be vice president because I would miss you." As we followed her along the campain trail, Aiden kept asking us if we thought she remembered him! It'd be the coolest if we could meet her someday. For now we take pride in the fact that she made it to our fridge well before she hit the big time.
There she is...a place of true honor.We want to add a bumper sticker we've seen to our collection that reads:
Alaska: coolest state, hottest governor
